IT Systems/SQL Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities
Establishes strong communication relationships with all application system owners inside GAHHS
Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, and scripts to support reporting needs
Develop and maintain reports using Meditech Expanse MaaS reporting tools
Build and automate recurring reports for leadership, clinical, billing, and administrative teams
Create visual dashboards and data models to support operational and strategic decision-making
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability
Translate complex datasets into clear reports for various stakeholders
Collaborate with IT and external partners to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility
Provide training and support to staff on how to interpret and use reports and dashboards
Work closely with billing, clinical, operations, and leadership teams to understand data needs and develop reporting solutions
Ensure reporting and data processes comply with federal, state, and payer requirements, including behavioral health reporting standards
Support audits and compliance reviews by extracting required data and preparing accurate reports
Stay current with SQL best practices, reporting technologies, and data governance standards
Recommend enhancements to data systems, reporting processes, and automation opportunities
Participate in organization-wide data initiatives to support long-term growth and scalability
Communicate changes effectively with the report requesters
Maintains weekly report(s) for previous week’s accomplishments, current open issues and the upcoming weeks scheduled tasks to Executive Director of IT
Develops, creates and manages vendor based and third party acquired reporting systems for generating meaningful report output from applications used by GAHHS. Educates staff on the utilization of these tools as required
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Information Technology

Required
Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Information Technology, the Systems/SQL Reporting Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality reports, dashboards, and database tools that ensure accurate, accessible, and actionable data for leadership, clinical teams, and operational staff
Duties include but not limited to: developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL queries, Meditech Expanse Reporting Tools, to support reporting needs; building and automating recurring reports for leadership, clinical, billing, and administrative teams; creating visual dashboards and data models to support operational and strategic decision-making; performing data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability; translating complex datasets into clear reports for various stakeholders; analyzes problems and brings them to resolution; serves as primary liaison between Information Technology, system owners and the application vendors

Work requires the ability to lift and carry boxes
Work requires ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. (2-3 hours)
Work requires communication abilities necessary to gather and exchange information with customers on a daily basis
Excellent telephone and public relations skill required, often in pressure situations
Visual acuity to proofread and check typed and handwritten documents for accuracy daily
Ability to use a computer both to entry and retrieve data
Auditory acuity to communicate with customers effectively
Ability to function professionally in stressful, space-limited and changing conditions
