Senior Manager of Customer Analytics and Intelligence
Ford Motor Company is seeking a visionary Senior Manager to lead the Customer Data, Analysis, and Tools group within its Advanced Concepting Team. This role involves developing an enterprise-wide customer segmentation framework using advanced analytics to transform complex data into actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making across various teams.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain demand map to serve as a common framework for the enterprise to collaborate around opportunities. Thoroughly understand the theory, structure, process, and data behind the demand map to be an informed ambassador of it
Integrate quantitative trend signals to ensure the map provides insights into future-oriented opportunities
Extend the demand map to support strategic decisions in key global regions and Ford business units
Work with strategy, planning, PD, GCI, GDIA, and marketing teams to ensure their processes are tied into the demand map where possible; and also ensure their needs for exploratory direction are met by the demand map
Maintain ultimate expertise in the data within the demand map. Be the most knowledgeable people about each part of the demand map
Oversee data acquisition, merging and cleaning, as well as analytical model development and deployment. Participate in peer-reviewed analytical forums to ensure models have the best quality and share lessons learned, new skills and tools
Lead a team of analytical experts and strategic thinkers that provides thought leadership in strategic studies
Establish tools for transparent self-service access to the data and analytical tools in the demand map. Provide users the training they need to use data and tools responsibly, as well as access to your team's expertise to avoid mis-use
Lead enterprise efforts to identify and evaluate new customer opportunities, serving different business units as internal customers. Demonstrate leadership and subject matter expertise in enterprise studies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
Passion for studying people through data - especially quantitative data
High interest in Ford's strategic choices and their long term impact on business operations
Creativity and curiosity applied to analyzing and visualizing data in new ways
7+ years in a blend of roles such as consulting, advanced portfolio planning, product concepting, corporate strategy, and consumer insights
3+ years of experience leading large quantitative analyses, including modeling and segmentation studies
3+ years in early-phase concepting or upstream product management
3+ years managing direct reports and cross-functional project teams
10+ years of working experience
Demonstrated expertise in consumer research methodologies and AI-based insight generation
Proficiency at survey development and statistical analysis methods
Skilled storyteller who can distill complex analytical journeys down to clear stories appropriate for executive audiences
Preferred
Experience, expertise or degree in business, especially business strategy
Experience with customer segmentation, including in non-automotive industries
Knowledge of the automotive industry including, brands, vehicles, segments, attributes, features
Highly empathetic people leader, passionate about developing team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, and nurturing talent within a large, global enterprise
Experience bringing new product concepts to life
Technical proficiency with leading data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SAS), and experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS)
Master's degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent)
