Intern - Summer 2026 - Events & Employee Experience
Elmington is a privately owned real estate investment and development firm based in Nashville, TN. They are seeking a talented and innovative Employee Experience Intern to assist in event coordination, employee engagement initiatives, and company culture programming during the summer internship period.

Responsibilities
Event Support: Assist in planning and executing company events, including team celebrations and activities, and social gatherings that foster connection and engagement
Gifting Initiatives: Design, source, and coordinate all company gifting programs, including onboarding welcome packages, milestone celebrations, holiday gifts, and recognition items that reflect company values
Culture Programming: Collaborate with the Employee Experience teams and Employee Engagement Committee to brainstorm and execute innovative ideas for culture-building initiatives and employee experience enhancements
Engagement Research: Analyze employee engagement trends and best practices in workplace culture to inform program decisions and recommendations
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Employee Experience team, accounting team, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of employee experience objectives
Final Presentation: Deliver a comprehensive showcase of employee experience projects, impact metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
Local Travel: During the first two weeks, travel locally within Nashville (up to 25%) for site visits and team meetings
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Communications, Event Management, or related field
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for creating positive employee experiences
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop engaging culture initiatives
Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
Strong creative thinking and attention to detail
Comfortable presenting creative concepts to senior stakeholders
Willingness to travel locally up to 25%
