Responsibilities
Support required will involve various assistance-related duties to respond to requests for records, pursuant to the FOIA
Will review, organize, and analyze documents for production in response to FOIA requests, including determining responsive records, identifying confidential business information, intra-agency, pre-decisional and deliberative information or attorney work product, and personal identifying information
Promote transparency within the government agency by disclosing non-exempt information directly to requestors and making proactive disclosures of non-exempt information readily accessible via the government online electronic reading room
Appropriately apply Exemptions 1-7 when responding to FOIA requests
Utilize FOIAXpress to manage and process FOIA requests
Qualification
Required
Possess at least 3 years of experience working in the FOIA field providing support to, or working directly for a Government Agency
Possess a working understanding of Exemptions 1-7
Possess prior experience utilizing FOIAXpress to manage and process FOIA requests
Possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels
Ability to handle multiple tasks within specified deadlines
Preferred
