Business Development Inside Sales Representative

Golden Star Technology is seeking a Business Development Inside Sales Representative to fuel top-line growth by identifying new opportunities and strengthening client relationships. This role involves energetic cold calling, strategic follow-up, and high-level customer support, balancing responsibilities between outbound prospecting and managing existing accounts.

Responsibilities

Conduct cold calls, outbound outreach, and follow-up campaigns to vendor leads, inbound inquiries, and dormant accounts
Qualify new prospects by identifying needs, budgets, timelines, and decision-makers
Collaborate with sales management to identify strategic growth opportunities within assigned territories or verticals
Provide additional business development support, as needed
Create and deliver customer quotes in a timely and accurate manner
Process customer purchase orders, ensuring pricing, terms, and delivery expectations are correct
Manage the quote log, open orders, and backlog reports through internal systems or customer portals
Track, review, and follow up on open opportunities, quotes, and pending order activities
Provide additional sales support, as needed
Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day customer inquiries
Identify customer needs and provide solutions that ensure a high level of satisfaction
Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments
Ensure on-time delivery and order accuracy by coordinating with purchasing, logistics, vendors, and suppliers

Required

2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, customer service, or a related role
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and interpersonal
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
High level of accuracy, accountability, and customer-service orientation
Flexible, adaptable, and able to shift priorities with ease

Preferred

Proven success with cold calling, outbound outreach, or lead management preferred
Experience with CRMs, ERP systems, or customer portals is a plus
