Responsibilities
Perform advanced finite element analysis on magnetic, thermal, electrostatic, and structural aspects of magnetic components
Develop and validate simulation models to predict component performance under various operating conditions
Support the design and development of medium voltage isolation transformers, focusing on safety, reliability, and manufacturability
Document analysis processes, findings, and design recommendations
Qualification
Required
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5+ years of professional experience in magnetics analysis using finite element methods
Strong knowledge of electromagnetic, thermal, and structural simulation tools
Preferred
Proven expertise in medium voltage and electrostatic analysis preferred
