Responsibilities
Lead and manage integrated external service operations across warehouse management, logistics, procurement coordination, and customer service
Own end-to-end operational execution related to material flow, inventory accuracy, delivery performance, and service quality
Establish department-level governance, operating standards, KPIs, and performance metrics
Ensure external service operations are aligned with business objectives, customer requirements, and growth strategies
Coordinate closely with procurement teams to align purchasing strategies with operational and customer needs
Provide managerial oversight of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics execution
Manage and evaluate third-party logistics providers (3PL), freight forwarders, suppliers, and external service partners
Ensure materials are properly planned, received, stored, and delivered in accordance with operational, contractual, and customer requirements
Oversee customer service operations related to order fulfillment, delivery coordination, and issue resolution
Serve as a senior escalation point for key customers and internal stakeholders
Ensure clear communication and alignment between customers, external service teams, and internal operations
Drive service-level performance improvements and customer satisfaction initiatives
Lead, mentor, and develop managers and teams across external service functions
Facilitate effective collaboration among procurement, warehouse, logistics, customer service, finance, and internal project teams
Prepare and present executive-level updates, dashboards, and operational performance reports
Build a strong, accountable, and customer-oriented external service organization
Identify operational and service delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost control, scalability, and service quality
Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and applicable local and federal regulations
Oversee ERP, WMS, and related operational system implementation, integration, and optimization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or service management roles
Proven experience managing warehouse, logistics, procurement coordination, and customer service functions
Strong people management experience, including leading managers and cross-functional teams
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing complex, cross-functional operations in a fast-paced environment
