Responsibilities

Own AMD’s wafer capacity planning operations, aligning with corporate objectives, product roadmaps, and technology enablement goals
Partner with senior leadership across Operations, Technology, and Business Units to influence investment decisions and capacity commitments
Secure wafer and final manufacturing capacity with foundries and OSATs; establish long-term agreements and risk mitigation frameworks
Lead executive-level scenario planning for capacity allocation, technology ramps, and contingency strategies to protect revenue and market share
Chair capacity planning governance forums; ensure alignment across Product Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing Strategy
Drive readiness for advanced packaging technologies (e.g., CoWoS, SOIC) and next-generation nodes; oversee capacity ramp and tool installation strategies
Establish KPIs and dashboards for wafer capacity performance; ensure proactive issue resolution and continuous improvement
Build and mentor a high-performing global team; foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
10+ years in semiconductor supply chain or wafer planning, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
Proven success in capacity planning, supplier negotiations, and technology enablement at scale
Strategic and analytical thinking with ability to influence at the C-suite level
Expertise in advanced packaging and leading-edge technology nodes
Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi-billion-dollar capacity investments
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams
Familiarity with ERP and planning platforms (SAP, Kinaxis) and advanced analytics tools
