Responsibilities

Create a financial management strategy to help the Department of Defense succeed
Work with project management, schedulers, task leads, and vendors to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals
Help your client develop well-formed requirements using knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies
Ensure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project management, schedulers, and task leads

Required

3+ years of experience with FinOps support for AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle environments
Experience in recommending and assisting in implementing cloud financial operations management strategies to optimize cost savings
Experience analyzing cloud cost data
Experience in providing and implementing FinOps benchmarks and key performance indicators
Experience advising clients on FinOps
Ability to provide Cloud FinOps training and guidance
Ability to assist in developing cloud cost forecasts and budgets, providing insights that inform strategic planning and resource allocation
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of cost-saving initiatives
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Experience working with DoD clients
Experience with multi-cloud solutions
