The Senior Environmental Engineer will support the development and growth of stormwater engineering services and participate in a variety of environmental engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Performing design of environmental systems and facilities from the conceptual phase through design completion and construction
Working with project teams throughout the design and construction process, adapting environmental plans, designs, and production drawings according to budget constraints, regulatory requirements, or client needs
Researching and compiling of project-related data as required by the project managers
Leading and supporting environmental or civil projects or tasks which may include earthwork/grading, stormwater, wastewater, remediation, waste management, and restoration
Preparing reports, studies, and cost estimates to help clients evaluate options and provide solutions
Project management duties such as developing and executing project scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and managing client expectations
Provide construction phase support and preparation of construction quality assurance (CQA) reports
Training / mentoring staff
Developing new and maintaining existing client and regulatory relationships
Other duties, as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program and 7 years of civil or environmental engineering experience (consulting preferred)
Available for travel as necessary (approximately 15% travel)
Strong knowledge in standard environmental engineering techniques and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills
Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and environmental analysis programs)
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills
