Quality Engineering Associate I

The Quality Engineering Associate I will be responsible for maintaining and updating QMS documents, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and supporting various departments in quality-related tasks.

Responsibilities

Maintains RTC Document Control revision master list
Assist the Quality department by Creating, revising, and maintaining records in the document control database to include customer and internally supplied engineering documents and specifications
Assist Director of Quality by typing up the revised Quality Management System documents
Variety of administrative duties in support of the creation, deployment, and monitoring of training and training materials in support of planned Quality Management System document revisions
Schedules customer visits and conference room meetings
Department point of contact for ordering office supplies
Familiarizes oneself with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
Track and input data into Excel for NCR’s, Root Cause/Corrective Actions, Process Audits etc
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiencies, reporting, and flow of information
Adheres to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and laws determined by the company, state, and federal authorities
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or other relevant major
Advanced use of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize activities within an environment of fast-paced periods of competing deadlines and fluctuating workload
Ability to work well with the public and present a professional appearance
Team player with a can-do attitude

Preferred

Minimum 1 years in customer service or office administration roles
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong oral and written communication, organization, and interpretation skill
Ability to work independently
Respect and maintenance of confidential and private subjects
Proficiency with Microsoft applications and MRP systems
