Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Project Leader (Telecommunications) to join a well-established engineering and systems integration organization out of the Salt Lake City, UT area. The Project Leader will provide overall development, training & leadership to junior project leadership, Field-Superintendents & trades personnel as it relates to the strategic planning, implementation and ownership of project completion.

Responsibilities

Proficient understanding and knowledge of Telecommunication Systems including Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling, CCTV, OSP & ISP Copper, along with DAS

Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems

Assisting the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support

Coordinating and running a project kick-off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews

Researching and compiling submittals, identifying/pricing change orders and preparing estimates for projects

Required

5+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems

Minimum 4+ years of experience & established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, & Government Airports, Higher-Education, Information Transit Systems

Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules

Ability to utilize software including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Accubid, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office

No clearance required but ability to obtain

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering discipline
