Principal Systems Requirements & Verification Lead

Responsibilities

Be part of a systems engineering team supporting the Tomahawk Redesign effort
Lead the requirements verification process for a missile subsystem
Develop and manage requirements and ensure requirements traceability
Create and maintain requirements verification artifacts
Participate in technical design reviews, including Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and System Verification Review (SVR)
Interface with program leadership and customers during Technical Interchange Meetings and Technical Design Reviews
Utilize DOORS for requirements management
Prepare and deliver technical briefs or presentations

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
Experience in a leadership role
Systems engineering, architecture, and/or design using agile methods
System performance and analysis
Software design, development, integration, and verification
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred

Experience in Systems Engineering requirements across the following areas:
Algorithms and signal processing
Electronics (circuit card assemblies, subassemblies, complete systems)
Navigation (GPS or Inertial)
Autopilots
Modeling and simulation (for example 6-DOF)
Mission planning and analysis
Aerodynamics
Flight control systems
Warheads, propulsion, or other energetics systems and subsystems
High Power or directed energy systems or subsystems
Airframe structures
Sensor sub-systems
Communication systems or subsystems
Configurable Logic / Firmware / VHDL architecture, design, development, integration, and verification
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
