The Assistant Underwriter is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Real Estate Investor team, including collecting data, organizing reports, and performing administrative duties regarding new and renewal accounts.

Responsibilities

Updates spreadsheets, workbooks and reports in accordance with the office procedures

Maintains monthly activity log and clears accounts for Underwriters' review

Processes policies, endorsements, audits, premium invoices and other documents in a timely and accurate manner

Enters new business and renewal submissions into agency management system

Creates files, conducts filing and ensures pulling and purging of files

Responds effectively to inquiries, under the direction of an Underwriter, within designated level of authority

Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)

Other duties as assigned
