Manager, IT Operations & Infrastructure

The Manager, IT Operations & Infrastructure will oversee the production support and network performance across multiple locations while leading a team of IT Support Desk professionals to ensure high-quality service and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing day-to-day production support as well as system and network performance ensuring availability and reliability across multiple office locations
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT Support Desk professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative work environment while ensuring timely response and resolution of service issues
Provide oversight, guidance and direction to the IT Support Desk team, including day-to-day operations, monitoring ticket volume, tracking performance metrics, and driving high-quality end-user experience
Design and implement robust, streamlined processes and methodologies that incorporate ongoing monitoring and comprehensive reporting
Facilitate the installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of all servers, equipment, and software related to business applications infrastructure
Manage the imaging, deploying and managing end-user computing assets and their life cycles
Oversee and maintain Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory (Multi-Site, Multi-Domain)
Lead the strategic cloud and on-premise infrastructure vision and roadmap, lifecycle planning, modernization and innovation efforts, both short and long term, while factoring cost and performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and sustainability
Oversee the design, execution, support, and optimization of disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup solutions / processes
Establish and maintain security protocols and policies, ensuring company data remains protected
Apply project management techniques and tactics to drive results across a wide span of initiatives across cross-functional teams
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and other external parties
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (PCI, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
Proactively track advancements in technology to pinpoint innovations that could deliver significant benefits to the organization. Provide strategic recommendations for adopting or updating technologies that drive cost efficiency and enhance productivity

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field or equivalent work experience required
7-10 years of related experience and/or training in Information Technology and Infrastructure, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership and managing a team of technical professionals
Demonstrated experience as a hands-on technical manager, actively involved in designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions
Proven experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and Microsoft Azure cloud services
Working knowledge of software, hardware, network architecture, Windows, Microsoft Server, and other IT systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Administration
Cisco, Meraki, Site-to-Site VPN expertise
Detail-oriented, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Aptitude for troubleshooting and solving complex issues through creative solutions
Preferred
Azure, MCSA, MCSE, ITIL, Network+, PMP and/or similar certifications highly preferred
Has command over emerging cloud and infrastructure technologies / best practices and/or industry specific certifications a plus
