Responsibilities
Lead specific projects within the Dynamic Simulation Lab and take an active part in simulation activities
Engage with partners within all Westinghouse organizations relevant to modeling and simulations to understand needs and ongoing activities relevant for the Dynamic Simulation Lab
Follow modeling and simulation activities and development within the Nuclear Industry and other relevant areas
Initiate and take an active part in external collaborations
Be part in introducing new technology, including AI/ML, to promote more efficient simulation workflows, product optimization and introduce simulation to new areas
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in the following disciplines - Nuclear Engineering/Physics or Structural Analysis
Engineering or related Discipline (e.g. Simulation, Nuclear, Mathematics) or recognized equivalent required
Experience working with advanced simulations and general programming skills
Experience with the role of simulations in the Nuclear Industry and a relevant network both inside Westinghouse and outside
Understanding of complex technical challenges and evaluate potential solutions
Preferred
MSc helpful
