AmeriCorps is dedicated to community service, and they are seeking a VISTA Team Leader for Arizona Serve. This role involves supporting and coaching VISTA members, facilitating team meetings and trainings, and participating in community outreach and recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities

Support and coach VISTA members: The VISTA Leader will provide coaching and support to members in monthly one-on-one meetings

Facilitate team meetings and trainings: The VISTA Leader will help cultivate a team culture that values collaboration, creativity and excellence

They will create and facilitate engaging activities in monthly team meetings and facilitate training geared to support leadership and professional development

Plan Events: Alongside a team of VISTA members, staff, and community partners, the VISTA leader will participate actively in planning and executing several annual events including National Days of Service

Community Outreach and Recruitment: All staff and AmeriCorps members on the Arizona Serve team help with outreach activities to attract new volunteers, AmeriCorps applicants, and develop new partnerships

This member will assist with this effort by conducting outreach presentations, attending tabling events, and helping implement social media outreach
