Grants & Contracts Specialist III Budget Coordinator
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Grants & Contracts Specialist III Budget Coordinator who will perform pre- and post-award accounting duties for complex grants and contracts. This role involves developing accurate and compliant activation budgets, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with university and sponsor policies.

Develop award activation budgets for all new and continuing awards
Translate NoA terms into compliant and accurate budget structures
Collaborate directly with faculty, division administrators, and post-award administrators to confirm budget details
Ensure alignment with University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine, and sponsor policies
Serve as a knowledge resource for budget principles within RSS and DoMRA
Support process standardization and development of templates to increase efficiency
Operate as an activation liaison across Pre-Award, Post-Award, faculty, and division staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2 years of experience
Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
