Responsibilities
Build complex data processing pipelines, tooling, and infrastructure in support of product, analytics, and ML initiatives
Be responsible for the infrastructure of Data Platform including Snowflake, Airflow, CI/CD and Kubernetes deployments, as well as other aspects of our infrastructure
Solve problems with a mindset toward rapid iteration and scale
Deliver solutions for our Product and GTM Data Teams, and business end-users, while establishing frameworks to boost efficiency
Qualification
Required
5+ years core data engineering experience, including data platform, data infrastructure, event logging, permission management, and data governance
Strong understanding of using Python and SQL to build great data warehouses, with the ability to follow engineering best practices with minimal guidance
Excellent communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders, and proactively shares knowledge across functions to generate outcomes
Looks at data to drive a path forward in technical design of data infrastructure
Constantly researches new data engineering and driven to grow technically
Works well in ambiguous situations, excited to identify problems and provide solutions, even when first-order scientific approaches fail
Preferred
Specific technical experience with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, DataDog and AWS are a bonus!
