Brand Consulting - Manager, Experiential

Responsibilities
Deliver best-in-class, business-driving experiential opportunities, ideas, and activation for brand clients
Contributes to the department by keeping a finger on the pulse of the latest developments in the Experiential Marketing space by identifying and implementing new, cutting-edge technologies
Lead CAA’s efforts in developing and maintaining relationships with world-class vendors, fabricators & technology partners
Participate in and contribute to project planning/development meetings and internal/external status meetings
Work with internal cross-functional teams from brief, through pre-production, and onsite execution to ensure the highest quality and smoothest operation of the overall activation
Help identify and vet third-party vendors (per event scope/type), request and negotiate bids, select, hire, and manage vendors & vendor contracts, payments, and deliverables; monitor and evaluate vendor performance
Collaborate with the internal Account Team to deliver breakthrough activation ideas that deliver against client objectives and meet sponsorship guidelines and regulations for execution
Supports all Event Production needs to ensure world-class execution (i.e., premiums, fabrication, event staffing, print signage, etc.)
Collaborates on project-based brand client experiential initiatives from start to finish (briefing to execution)
Work with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure consistent & comprehensive cross-functional communication
Develop creative briefs for experiential activations, lead briefing and review process with internal teams, and facilitate creative approval process (i.e., renderings, signage, POS, etc.)
Develop & manage timelines, run of show, budgets & reconciliation for experiential activations
Manage on-site event logistics from planning through execution
Establish effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams
Utilize agency resources appropriately and efficiently to ensure all agency protocols are being followed, including vendor agreements, accounting processes, recaps, etc
Demonstrate the highest level of critical thinking with focus on proactiveness and attention to detail
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree plus 3-5 years of experience in sports & entertainment experiential and/or event marketing
Understanding of how brand sponsorships work in sports & entertainment, from negotiation through execution, management, and event production
Strong relationship-building skills
Creative and strategic thinker
Strong writing and presentation skills
Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
Willingness to work early mornings or late nights to accommodate weekends and holidays (if applicable)
Must be able to lift heavy boxes and items up to 30 lbs
Ability to work in the NYC office; minimum of 3 days per week
