Responsibilities

Building and implementation of end to end communications solutions to meet customer requirements
Working directly with customers
Work with product management and development to understand problems and build practical solutions using creativity, technical knowledge, and past experience
Lead, design and specify system performance from requirements through implementation, test, and deployment
Invent, demonstrate, validate, and adjust solutions by incorporating feedback from within and outside the organization
Balance technical trade-offs to achieve difficult performance goals in demanding environmental conditions
Contribute technical and programmatic content to proposal development in multiple sectors
Maintain and grow a market presence and stay ahead of market trends and challenges in a dynamic environment within a fast-paced industry

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience
8+ years of related work experience in communications, networking, and security
Practical and theoretical knowledge of communications (RF, Digital, Optical), and networking (TCP/IP)
Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
Experience with RF Link Budgets
Experience leading IRAD programs and crafting proposals
Capable of engaging with internal and external Authorities about technical problems, trade-offs, and solutions
Experience writing and support proposals, and/or technical publications including whitepapers
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools suite
U.S. Government position. U.S. Citizenship required
Active Secret Clearance required
Ability to travel up to 25%
Excellent problem solving skills
Organized approach to problem solving, ability to perform tasks optimally without mentorship within large teams, small teams, and individually

Preferred

8+ years of demonstrated ability with SATCOM equipment, including hands on experience
Understanding of and hands-on background in industry technologies including, but not limited to: SATCOM theory, terrestrial communications infrastructure, TCP/IP Networking, digital communications, Routing and switching, QoS, ACM, FDMA, MF-TDMA, Linux, and cybersecurity
Knowledge of, and experience with MIL-STD waveforms, and MIL-STD testing
Hands-on operational and/or test experience with commonly used communications and test equipment (modems, terminals, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, antennas, routers)
Experience with technical product development, project lifecycle, and product management (Requirements development, Achievement reviews, testing, documentation, customer acceptance, etc)
