Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis on regulations, contracts, and policies, and prepare clear, concise summaries and recommendations

Review and negotiation of assigned matters and agreements

Draft and revise standard agreements, contract provisions, correspondence, and internal guidance documents

Support the development and maintenance of policies, guidance, and checklists, including incorporating feedback from various stakeholders

Help track and document the status of assigned matters to ensure accurate, timely reporting and coordinated follow-up across legal and business teams

Collaborate with legal team members to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, centralize information, and reduce repetitive administrative work (e.g., through use of playbooks, templates, and legal technology tools)

Participate in department and cross-functional initiatives, gaining exposure to technology, data, privacy, and other strategic areas supported by the Legal team

Required

Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school

License to practice law in good standing

Minimum 3 years of legal experience; relevant business experience may substitute for the legal experience requirement

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and an ability to synthesize and communicate complex ideas

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and seek guidance appropriately

Effective communicator and collaborator, with the ability to work as part of a broader legal and business team
