Responsibilities
Working on cutting-edge Zero Trust technologies, developing and delivering solutions that ensure fast, reliable, and secure access to business-critical apps
Designing and developing new architectures as well as extending and optimizing existing throughput-critical forwarding systems and pipelines that guarantee high-speed transit with imperceptible latency
Collaborating across teams (product, operations, etc.) to design, implement, deploy, and monitor systems in production and at scale
Proactively identifying and resolving hotspots to ensure smooth performance as the user base grows and identifying paths towards operational improvements and excellence
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in C/C++ programming in a distributed and enterprise-scale environment
Experience with networking protocols and traffic management technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, QUIC)
Experience diagnosing and resolving network performance issues (latency/packet loss), including analysis using traffic tools
Strong knowledge in one or more of the cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Familiarity with Kubernetes components and containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman
Preferred
Familiarity with Hashicorp Packer for building and customizing VM images for cloud for AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware ESX
Experience proposing and delivering enhancements to improve system reliability, scalability, and network efficiency
