Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering, Tenure Stream
The University of Pittsburgh is inviting applications for an open tenure/tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Industrial Engineering. Qualification
Required
Applicants must hold a PhD in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field
Applicants should have a strong methodological background
Applicants must have the ability to conduct impactful, cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research
Candidates should have evidence of, or potential for, teaching excellence
Applicants should submit (1) a cover letter, (2) a detailed curriculum vitae, (3) a statement of research plans/vision, (4) a statement of teaching plans/vision, (5) up to three representative publications, and (6) a list of three or more professional references
Preferred
Candidates in all areas of industrial engineering, including, but not limited to, data analytics, simulation, AI/ML, human factors, and operations research applied to address challenges in health systems, manufacturing, materials, robotics, quality/reliability, and other emerging areas
