Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute Python scripts to support modeling and simulation activities within the HWIL environment
Integrate current and future software capabilities into the OSF Framework
Contribute to CDI activities, GT events, and Flight Test support
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to simulation performance and accuracy
Collaborate with a team of engineers and analysts to ensure the successful execution of simulation campaigns
Develop and implement data management plans for simulation data, including data storage, backup, and recovery procedures
Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes
Create and maintain data dictionaries and metadata to document simulation data
Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data access and analysis
Assist in the development of data visualization tools and reports to communicate simulation results effectively
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their data analysis needs
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience
2 years system design experience
Ability to obtain a secret level DoD clearance
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with cloud computing concepts
Understanding of MDA Ground Test CONOPS
Strong communication, organizational, and technical writing skills
Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-team environment and manage multiple tasks
Experience with data management, including storage and retrieval technologies
Preferred
Familiarity with Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) and HWIL architecture
Experience with Linux and Python data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Demonstrated understanding of the Missile Defense System
