OceanFirst Bank is offering a paid, part-time internship program for undergraduate students to gain valuable work experience in the banking industry. The Enterprise Applications Intern will assist managers with data analysis and reporting to enhance the Bank's competitive position and support various departmental projects.

Responsibilities

Under guidance and direction of various subject matter experts, contribute to the execution of department specific projects and initiatives through data collection, research, analysis and administrative support

Gather information from a variety of sources; prepare analytic reports and summary presentations for management use in formulating recommendations

Develop an understanding of processes and procedures

Share insights and recommendations for potential enhancements and efficiencies

Participate in documenting department processes and procedures

Develop a knowledge and understanding of the Banking Industry that includes both the customer experience and the inter-relationships of various internal functional departments

Support technical and analytical efforts to improve the quality, reliability and usefulness of data

Successfully contribute to the achievement of assigned department objectives

Required

Undergraduate college/university student

Ability to assist managers in making informed decisions

Experience in data collection, research, analysis, and administrative support
