Responsibilities

Practices integrity, respect, accountability, continuous improvement and positive interactions with all Team Members and visitors

Records all information as required

Weighs ingredients for mixing process

Rolls or pushes ingredient drums and pallets to weigh and prepare for each batch according to schedule and specifications

Reads scales and performs arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately

Operates HMI’s (computer panel controls) to regulate and control bulk ingredients and pumping flows

Maintains standard production quantities/rates for each product

Cleans and rinses equipment according to specified procedures

Monitors equipment to detect malfunctions; makes minor adjustments/repairs; communicates mechanical problems to maintenance

Mounts supplies on spindles or places supplies in hoppers or other feeding devices

Coordinates information and equipment with prior and next shifts Leads and other dept

Fills in for and assists other departments when necessary

Regular Attendance is required in accordance with Company attendance policy and procedures

Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Lead and Management

Complete initial/annual training to ensure the individual is properly qualified (QI) to perform all required job tasks as outlined in training programs/records

Qualification

Food manufacturing experienceIndustrial truck certificationBasic mechanical aptitudeMath skillsEffective communication

Required

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required

Basic mechanical aptitude and strong math skills are required

Ability to read & interpret written & verbal direction while working in a safe, effective & productive manner within a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively – verbally & written – to and work well with Team Members & Management

Must be able to successfully obtain industrial truck and lift operating certification and safely maintain per company and OSHA standards

Regular Attendance is required in accordance with Company attendance policy and procedures

Complete initial/annual training to ensure the individual is properly qualified (QI) to perform all required job tasks as outlined in training programs/records

Preferred

Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
