Organizational Performance Specialist

Responsibilities

Conduct complex organizational and workflow analysis
Evaluate policies, procedures, and internal controls
Develop data-driven recommendations to improve effectiveness, accountability, and operational performance
Act as a key advisor to the SSM II, Division Chief, and managers within FSD on organizational structure, workload distribution, performance measures, and change management
Lead and coordinate division-wide process improvement and policy development efforts
Facilitate collaboration across units
Prepare analytical reports, recommendations, and presentations for leadership
Support implementation of approved changes through planning, communication, training, and monitoring outcomes to ensure sustainable improvements aligned with division and departmental goals

Describe your experience leading or supporting process improvement and policy development efforts, including how you identified issues, engaged stakeholders, ensured compliance with relevant laws, rules, regulations, and statewide guidance (i.e., Government Code, State Administrative Manual, State Contracting Manual) and implemented or monitored changes
