Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dedicated and personable Bank Teller / Customer Service Representative to join their financial institution. Responsibilities

Perform daily cash handling duties including deposits, withdrawals, and cash exchanges with precision and adherence to security protocols
Process a variety of banking transactions such as debits and credits, check cashing, and account transfers using financial software
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering tailored financial solutions
Assist customers with account management tasks including opening new accounts, updating information, and closing accounts when necessary
Identify opportunities for upselling banking products such as savings accounts, loans, or credit cards to meet customer needs
Conduct basic math calculations accurately for transaction processing and account balancing
Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring suspicious activities and adhering to security procedures
Support loan origination processes by collecting documentation, verifying information, and processing loan applications
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cash management and accurate record keeping
Maintain compliance with banking regulations and internal policies at all times
Engage in relationship management efforts to foster long-term client loyalty through personalized service

Required

Proven experience in banking or retail customer service roles, preferably as a teller or similar position
Strong knowledge of financial sales techniques and customer relationship management strategies
Familiarity with fraud prevention and detection methods within a banking environment
Basic understanding of loan processing and origination procedures
Proficiency in financial software applications and familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient data entry
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across diverse audiences
Competency in retail math, cash handling, debits & credits, and general cash management principles
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately under pressure
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to security standards
