Responsibilities

Works with various state and federal agencies while assisting eligible applicants in meeting program requirements and deadlines successfully
Reviews construction activities to ensure efficient, proper, and timely use of program funds
Reviews requests for reimbursement related to eligibility and reasonableness
Researches and analyzes data
Prepares, analyzes, and interprets fiscal information and may carry out special studies
Monitors grantees/borrowers for compliance with grant or loan regulations and provides assistance when required
Ensures statutory compliance by internal and external stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's Degree (typically in Finance)
0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Accounting Technician
3-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Accounting Technician
Knowledge of state statutes, policies, and regulations
Knowledge of the construction industry, including billing practices
Knowledge of purchasing procedures
Knowledge of internal control processes
Skills in effective oral and written communication
Skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to analyze information and solve problems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
