Mansueto Ventures is a company dedicated to empowering innovators and leaders through journalism. They are seeking an Editorial Fellow to support their editorial teams at Inc. and Fast Company, providing both editorial and administrative assistance to the CEO and editors-in-chief.

Responsibilities

The fellow will spend six months of the internship primarily reporting and writing for •Inc.•, followed by six months writing and reporting for •Fast Company.•

Administrative duties may include helping the CEO and editors schedule meetings; arranging travel for the CEO; submitting CEO expenses; working with security and reception to receive VIP visitors; and working with the facilities manager on company gatherings

Where appropriate, the fellow may be invited to observe or participate in meetings with visiting executives

Fellows should expect to spend roughly 15-16 hours a week supporting the CEO and editors, and about 19-20 hours a week on editorial projects

Required

Must have a bachelor's degree or higher

Exceptional verbal and written communications skills

Exceptional organizational skills

Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple meetings at once

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office and other Office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems

Flexible team player who is willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge

Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced work environment

Ability to keep company confidences

Interest in media and publishing industry a plus
