Responsibilities

Leading a team of AI Factory engineers to set priorities and execute work within the team vision

Collaborating with a diverse team of data engineers, AI/ML developers, full stack developers, MLOps teams, and product managers to drive innovation and growth

Developing and implementing strategies to drive team performance and achieve business objectives

Fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team

Preferred

Experience AI Engineering discipline and familiarity with Lockheed Martin's AI initiatives

Strong programming skills in languages such as Go, Python, Java, or C++

Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)

Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab)

Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization

Experience with large language models, natural language processing, computer vision, or other AI applications

Familiarity with model interpretability, explainability, and transparency

Strong business acumen and understanding of the aerospace and defense industry

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
