Responsibilities
Facilitating and completing monthly close procedures with primary ownership of fixed assets, construction in progress (CIP), and internally developed software
Partnering with real estate, construction, IT, new store visual merchandising, and finance to properly account for capital expenditures
Preparing monthly and quarterly accounting reports and ad hoc analyses for senior management
Performing general to complex accounting activities that support departmental and enterprise-wide needs
Researching accounting issues and new standards, and advising senior leaders on financial and reporting impacts
Supporting stores and Store Support Center teams by answering accounting questions and providing clear guidance
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in accounting and 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls—especially in complex or growing environments
Experience supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations with accuracy and ownership
The ability to explain accounting clearly to non-accountants and partner effectively across functions
A mindset geared toward process improvement, not just process adherence
Preferred
CPA license (or active pursuit)
public accounting or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience is a plus
