Advise on the strategic direction of Healthcare Shares, ensuring our objectives align with our mission to create social impact through innovation in digital health, medical devices, and population health
Assist in evaluating startups in our focus areas, ensuring alignment with the quintuple aim and the potential for significant health and social returns
Provide guidance to entrepreneurs in our portfolio, supporting them in overcoming challenges and refining their growth strategies
Offer insights into emerging trends in digital health, medical devices, and population health to inform investment and operational strategies
Leverage your professional network to identify promising startups, engage potential investors, and foster partnerships aligned with Healthcare Shares’ goals
Support ethical oversight and ensure that activities adhere to our mission and values
Qualification
Required
Strong expertise in medicine, technology, life sciences, or business, with a deep interest in digital health, medical devices, or population health
Prior involvement in venture capital, startups, or healthcare innovation initiatives is highly valued but not mandatory
A demonstrated ability to assess opportunities critically and provide actionable insights aligned with the quintuple aim
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor entrepreneurs and work effectively with other advisors
A strong commitment to improving healthcare outcomes, advancing health equity, and fostering innovation
