Responsibilities

Building and nurturing both technical and executive relationships across the territory to influence preference for Akamai's solutions
Delivering powerful proof-of-concepts, technical demonstrations, and pre-sales activities with customers and partner teams
Diving into enterprise architecture discovery and hands-on software configuration
Taking a consultative approach to solutions and solving customer challenges
Educating and enabling internal teams and partners regarding our Enterprise solution portfolios to motivate effective sales strategies
Influencing product roadmaps and ensuring the inclusion of business priorities and requirements of customers

Qualification

Pre-sales experienceNetwork security technologiesMicrosegmentation knowledgeEnterprise architecture discoveryPresentation skills

Required

5 years of industry experience with at least 3 years in a pre-sales capacity handling enterprise accounts
Have hands-on experience with network, security and infrastructure technologies
Have outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences

Preferred

Knowledge in Microsegmentation and/or Enterprise Browsers a plus
