Contract Recruiter (8am-4:45pm; $28-30/hr)
The Job Center Staffing is seeking a dedicated Contract Recruiter to join their dynamic human resources team. This role is vital in sourcing, attracting, and onboarding top talent across various departments through strategic recruiting efforts. The ideal candidate will manage the full-cycle recruiting process and ensure a seamless candidate experience while maintaining effective relationships with hiring managers.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies utilizing social media management, job boards, ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
Conduct comprehensive interviews to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and potential contributions
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from job requisition approval through offer negotiation and onboarding
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and define candidate profiles
Utilize research techniques and lead generation methods to identify passive candidates for specialized roles including technical positions and executive level openings
Maintain strong relationship management with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback
Ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations during all stages of recruitment
Support campus recruitment initiatives by engaging with educational institutions for internship programs and entry-level talent pipelines
Use ATS tools such as Taleo or UltiPro to track applicant flow, generate reports, and optimize recruitment workflows
Assist in employee orientation sessions and contribute to training & development programs for new hires
Participate in employee evaluation processes related to talent acquisition performance metrics
Qualification
Required
Strong negotiation skills
Experience in technical and executive recruiting
Comprehensive understanding of HR sourcing strategies
Proven expertise in negotiation, talent management, and internal recruiting practices
Strong background in technical recruiting across various industries
Proficiency with ATS platforms including Lever, Taleo, iCIMS, or similar systems
Knowledge of employment & labor law compliance requirements
Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP/PeopleSoft, or Kronos
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability in research techniques for sourcing passive candidates effectively
Competence in social media management for recruitment campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn or Facebook
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Understanding of contracts related to employment agreements and onboarding processes
Skills in employee relations and supporting employee orientation initiatives
Experience with training & development activities related to talent acquisition best practices
Preferred
Familiarity with payroll systems like Paychex or ADP is advantageous
