Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking an Applications Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. This internship offers students pursuing an engineering degree the chance to gain hands-on experience in technical customer support, software applications, and product demonstrations, with potential for a full-time role afterward.

Responsibilities

Learn Hexagon proprietary CMM programming software through training classes and self-guided material

Create and/or execute CMM programs for manufactured parts with simple to highly complex geometries

Prepare and conduct training classes to customers in machine operations and programming

Provide technical support to our customers, both on-site and by phone

Learn to take a challenging issue from problem statement through resolution and follow up

Qualification

Required

Must be enrolled in a Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering undergraduate or other technical degree program and in good academic standing

Must be comfortable speaking in front of small groups

Ability to work Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week during the summer break

Proficiency in programming
