Product Application Engineer - Commercial Vehicles

Responsibilities
Foster customer and Danfoss Sales relationships
Learn, promote, and improve product manufacturing process
Communicate customer feedback
Translate customer designs into internal designs using Danfoss standards
Manage small projects and support engineering design and development tasks
Support internal fixture design and manufacturing
Support quoting activities (prototype and production) and new part activations
BOM establishment
Component cost calculations
Working in SAP, Salesforce and Teamcenter daily
Help with customer onboarding for new product wins
Assist in process improvement
Exercise individual autonomy
Up to 25% travel for day trips or overnight visits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related engineering
3-5 years of experience in engineering, technical sales or manufacturing
English (written and spoken)
Preferred
Technical experience in hydraulics and/or commercial vehicles (on highway)
Experience working with SAP, Teamcenter and Salesforce
Proficient with CAD, NX preferred
Strong engineering mindset
Desire to learn, teach and train others
Strategic thinker with a focus on growth and market share
Effective collaborator with effective communication skills
Diligence
Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
