Chief Human Resources Officer

Responsibilities

Reports directly to the System CEO and President and serves as a member of the Garnet Health System Executive team
Oversees all aspects of Human Resources and People Management for the Health System including but not limited to: Human Resources Operations, Benefits and Compensation, Employee and Labor Relations, Recruitment and Retention and Human Resources Information Systems, Occupational Health and Wellness and Volunteer Services

Required

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field is required
Minimum of Ten (10) years demonstrated experience as an HR leader in a Healthcare environment with at least five (5) years as a senior leader
Five (5) plus years' experience working in a union environment with expertise in employee and labor relations
Demonstrated budgetary oversight including familiarity with FTE management
Mentorship and leader development experience is highly desired as is extensive knowledge of Hospital Operations
Demonstrates effective interpersonal and customer service skills; must work well within a team and independently; must be flexible; must maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to learn; must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required
SHRM SCP or HRCI SPHR certification is required
