Responsibilities

Process cancer patient specimens (blood, urine, and saliva) for approximately three times a week
Perform and maintain mammalian cell culture, including passaging, transfection, and cell-based assays
Conduct molecular biology experiments such as DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, ELISA, and Western blotting
Participate in the design and execution of experiments, and analyze and interpret the results
Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records
Contribute to lab organization, reagent preparation, and inventory management
Participate in regular team meetings and present data when appropriate

Required

Bachelor's degree
Two years related research/ laboratory experience with a Bachelor's degree or one year related research/ laboratory experience with a Master's degree

Preferred

Master's degree preferred
Prior hands-on experience with cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques (academic or internship experience are preferred)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Highly motivated, dependable, and eager to learn new techniques and concepts
Desire and/or ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a research team
