Responsibilities

Providing supervisory direction to the Flight Test Maintenance Support personnel deployed to Edwards

Detailed planning, requirements management, risk management, and flight test maintenance operations management

Providing close coordination directly with the Flight Test Director and F-22 Senior Site Leader deployed to Edwards for all maintenance activities associated with the management of flight test operations

Required

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance

Providing supervisory direction to the Flight Test Maintenance Support personnel deployed to Edwards

Aircraft maintenance direction; cost & schedule management; cross-IPT coordination & integration; and personnel actions such as performance appraisals, staffing & disciplinary actions for both salaried and hourly personnel

Detailed planning, requirements management, risk management, and flight test maintenance operations management

Preferred

Candidate should possess a broad military aircraft support background and advanced interpersonal and communication skills to be effective in a high tempo flight test environment

Ability to effectively communicate with international customers, team partner companies, and local base authorities critical for success

Prior United States Air Force or civilian equivalent operational maintenance & logistics experience highly desirable; specifically, organizational, and intermediate maintenance experience

Should be considered an expert authority in the maintenance, operations, and support disciplines

Flight test support and planning experience to include retrofit management desirable

Familiarity with the F-22 logistics, test and evaluation requirements, autonomic logistics information system (ALIS), technical publications approach and supportable low observable support concept beneficial

Knowledge of both pilot and maintainer systems & processes, development and technical directive implementation and logistics support
