Responsibilities

Ensures internal control of the work unit or division
Prepare, analyze, and interpret fiscal information; you may also carry out special studies and recommend fiscal policy improvements
Help track contract-related payments for timely processing and accurate record keeping, ensuring payments align with contract terms
Assist in the coordination and management of contract drafting, working with staff to determine contract needs
Support agency staff with the coordination of issuing Requests For Proposals (RFP), writing RFPs, and monitoring the Public Purchase website for related bid activity
Ensure statutory compliance by internal and external stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's Degree (typically in Finance)
0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Accounting Technician
3-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Accounting Technician (if education & experience substitution is applicable)

Preferred

Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Experience with the Wyoming Online Financial System (WOLFS)
Previous experience in contract and/or procurement is a bonus
