Sentara Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Supervisor for their Cardiovascular Cath Lab at Sentara Heart Hospital in downtown Norfolk, VA. The Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of clinical areas, supervising staff, coordinating quality activities, and serving as a technical resource.

Responsibilities

Responsible and accountable for the daily operations of one or more clinical areas

Supervises procedural area staff including coordinating quality and customer service activities

Assisting in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget

Coordinating the purchasing and payroll processes

Serving as a technical/clinical resource to team members

Performing work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff

Serves as chief retention officer for areas of responsibility
