Industrial Hygiene Project Manager

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the delivery of occupational health and safety and environmental consulting services including:
Asbestos inspections and abatement oversight
Lead-based paint surveys and risk assessments
Mold and moisture investigations
Indoor air quality assessments
Industrial hygiene assessments (e.g., noise, chemical exposure, dust, particulates)
Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
Environmental Permitting
Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical oversight to project staff, field technicians, and junior consultants
Maintain and enforce high standards for quality, health and safety, and regulatory compliance across all projects
Manage the full project lifecycle from proposal and scope development through execution and reporting
Ensure effective project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
Maintain financial oversight of projects, including profitability, cost tracking, and reporting
Review and approve technical reports and client deliverables for quality and regulatory compliance
Serve as a primary client contact for occupational health and safety services
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and communication
Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and scopes of work in response to RFPs and business opportunities
Identify opportunities to grow service offerings and expand client base

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field
7+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably within engineering, environmental, or construction industries
Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex, and high-impact projects in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar, and Microsoft Office Suite
In-depth knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
Experience managing project financials, contracts, and vendor relationships
Ability to travel to job sites and regional offices as needed
Self-directed, highly organized, and capable of managing competing priorities in a matrixed or decentralized organization

Advanced degree or PMP certification
