Responsibilities
Manage multiple retail construction projects from initiation through close-out
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines
Oversee all phases of development including entitlement, design, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, store turnover, and project closure
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and developers
Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and forecasts
Review contracts, administer change orders, and ensure quality control
Monitor progress and report project status, risks, and resolutions
Utilize web-based project management tools for documentation and tracking
Oversee logistics and material sourcing, ensuring timely delivery to project sites
Resolve material sourcing issues and communicate delays or risks proactively
Manage inbound logistics from supplier to distribution center to store
Perform on-site assessments, which may require ladder climbing and rooftop access
Represent the company professionally and deliver exceptional client service
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing retail or large-format (big box) construction projects
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Skilled in web-based project management systems
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Ability to operate tablets for live data collection in the field
