Responsibilities

Develop and modify 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings based on project requirements
Collaborate with project teams to develop schematics and mechanical designs that meet project specifications
Assist in the design and development of new equipment and processes
Maintain and update CAD libraries and documentation
Provide technical support and training to team members on CAD software and best practices
Participate in project meetings and contribute to design reviews

Qualification

CAD software proficiencyMechanical design principlesGD&T knowledgeTechnical writing skills2D animation conceptsAttention to detailOrganizational skillsTeam collaborationSelf-motivation

Required

High school diploma or GED is required
Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Siemens NX; 3D is preferred
Familiarity with drafting techniques, construction processes, mechanical design principle, and GD&T
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
Solid technical writing skills to support the development of shop floor documentation

Preferred

Basic understanding of 2D animation concepts is a plus
A degree or coursework in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
