Responsibilities
Install, program, and maintain security systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems
Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely and effective solutions
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance
Ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and company policies
Document service activities, including installation details, maintenance logs, and client communications
Work independently or as part of a team on projects of varying complexity
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic security and fire alarm systems installation and maintenance
Proficiency with industry-standard equipment and brands (e.g., Honeywell, DMP, Hirsch, GE, DSC)
Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems
Familiarity with NFPA codes, NEC standards, and local fire and building regulations
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to work on-call or overtime as needed
DCJS certification or ability to obtain one is required
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Technical school or relevant certifications preferred
