Associate Accounting Analyst
The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is a leader in emergency management and homeland security. They are seeking an Associate Accounting Analyst to process non-grant claim payments and perform reconciliations of appropriations and cash transactions under the direction of the Accounting Administrator I.

Responsibilities
Process all non-grant claim payments such as service agreements, purchase orders, utilities, and other miscellaneous invoices
Perform all reconciliations of appropriations and cash transactions
Prepare Year-End Financial Statements to the State Controller's Office (SCO)
Perform all reconciliations for appropriations and cash transactions using the procedures of the State of California, policies, rules, and regulations of the Legislature, State Controller, State Treasurer, and Department of Finance
Prepare any Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) adjustments in compliance with Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) 54 requirements
Qualification
Required
Higher level analytical skills to prepare complex and difficult reconciliations
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Compliance with Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) 54 requirements
