New Grad, Entry LevelCommonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Temporary Payroll Specialist to support our Home Office payroll team during a high-volume period. This role will assist with accurate and timely payroll processing, data entry, audits, and employee payroll-related inquiries across multiple communities.

Responsibilities
Assist with end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees
Review, audit, and enter payroll data including hours, adjustments, bonuses, and corrections
Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws
Support payroll processing within Paycom
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries in a timely manner
Assist with new hire payroll setup, terminations, and final pay processing
Partner with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll data integrity
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information
Support reporting, reconciliations, and payroll documentation as needed
Provide additional payroll support during peak processing periods
Qualification
Required
Previous payroll experience required (multi-state payroll preferred)
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and best practices
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Professional communication skills and customer-service mindset
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred
Experience using Paycom strongly preferred
