Responsibilities
Create and analyze costing models to inform pricing decisions
Identify and resolve any discrepancies in pricing
Monitor, analyze, and report on internal price/margin changes
Maintain and update pricing databases
Work with sales, purchasing, R&D, supply chain, finance, and customer service teams to optimize pricing and profitability
Distribute workload based on changing priorities to meet schedules
Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, GMPs, Ethical Business Practices, and SOPs at all times
Evaluate and resolve issues by reviewing areas of concern and potential solutions and preparing recommendations for management
Maintain a work environment that supports teamwork and continuous process improvement
Establish and maintain effective relationships with peers, team members, and senior managers to ensure clear communication
Align goals and objectives with the organization for self and direct reports, create action plans, set milestones, and deliver progress reports and development plans
Maintain open lines of communication with employees, peers, and management
Ensure efficient, timely, and accurate completion of functions
Learn and understand specific manufacturing operations to provide support in other areas as needed
Work safely and responsibly to create an injury-free and incident-free workplace
Comply with all job-related safety and other training requirements
Keep management informed of area activities and significant problems
Work extended hours and occasional weekend overtime as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, business administration, or a relevant field
Strong ability to interpret and analyze complex data with high precision
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the capability to work independently or as part of a team
Basic understanding of finance principles related to pricing, margin, revenue, etc
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Preferred
Previous experience or familiarity with the pharmaceutical/nutraceutical industry is advantageous
Experience with MRP systems is preferred
